  {A boost in my walk...}

Hey Everyone! I hope your all having an awesome week! I just love Friday's. They are not only heading into the weekend, but we also have Bible study tonight, and I really enjoy getting together with my friends and having a great night joining with other believers and exploring deeper into our faith.

But this post is not about Friday, or bible study, or the weekend. But it's about a book. A book that if you are on or starting a weight loss journey, you MUST read it! Its not a self help book or one that teaches you anything, but it's a story about three friends that are trying to FINALLY loose the weight.

Nola and her two friends, make a pact, the Cinderella Pact, to lose the weight and get healthy together. One takes the personal trainer route. One gets gastric bypass, and Nola does it to protect her secret identity. This identity is that of Advice columnist Belinda Apple. A hip, British, thin woman whom everyone loves. Nola had to fake her resume to get the job, and now she is struggling to keep her job between a strange romance, working out, and not getting arrested! Its an amazing book that I highly recommend. It had me laughing out loud, crying at spots, and totally shocked at it's twist and turns.

It also gave me amazing inspiration because I saw my self in all of the women. So run out and get the Cinderella Pact. You wont regret it!

  {Book Review Time}

Hey! Its book review time!

From time to time you will see me review a book I have read. Keep in mind, I usually don't read very deep and meaningful books, but rather ones that have cute covers and make me want to pick them up! lol

But the latest book I have read was so much fun to read, I had a hard time putting it down!
It's called a Total Waste of Makeup by Kim Gruenenfelder.

This book is centered around a woman named Charlie. She works as an assistant to a lead actor named Drew Stanton. She has everything she could want! Great shoes, great clothes, great bags, great friends...life is perfect! Except Charlie is about to turn 30, she isn't married, isn't dating anyone serious, and thinks that marriage is a distant dream that will never come to pass. Not to mention her boss who is terribly demanding and slightly brain dead!

One night in her loneliness of "waiting by the phone" for a man she has gone on three dates with, Charlie decides to jot down some advice for her future granddaughter. Then, she realizes that her soon-to-be-married younger sister has a better possibility of having children way before her, so she decided to write the advice down for her grandniece!

This book is super witty, and fun to read! I laughed, I cried, and I rooted for Charlie through the whole thing!

Pick up this book! Its sure to please!! :)
