{An award for Reading...}

I just wanted to pop in real quick and say that my awesome buddy Anne over at Cupcakes and Sunshine sent me an AWESOME award!

I LOVE to read. I don't get to do it much, but I do really enjoy it. So this award was perfect for me!
The award is a reading award. This award requires I open the nearest book to page 56. Write out the fifth sentence on that page, and also the next two to five sentences...The CLOSEST BOOK, NOT YOUR FAVORITE, OR MOST INTELLECTUAL!!

So the nearest book to me at my desk is The Bible (KJV). Its always near by! :) So I turned to page 56, and it read:

"Judah, thau art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee."
Genesis 50:8

Wow! An award and a little piece of the good Word all in one! You just can't beat that!
So now I get to pass this award along, so I am going to pass it to my buddy Kyley! Love ya Ky! :)

{Im a weiner...I mean a Winner!!}

I know, I know, I'm so un original with my titles! Oh well, I never claimed to be a writer!! hehe But I am totally a winner this week! I feel so awesome! First I won a giveaway, then two blog awards, all in a matter of two days! Soooo cool!!



First up, the giveaway. I actually love catching up with my graphic design clients and occasionally I will leave a comment. Well, I guess I left the right one, because I won a giveaway over at the AWESOME Danielle Marie's blog! I am getting some beautiful custom made cards and a $10 gift certificate! Plus her post about me is so flattering, I totally blushed! Danielle, you are so wonderful! Second, a Kreative Blogger Award. Now, I got one of these a while back from another awesome blogger, but this one came from KatyLin over at The Great Adventure


she was so sweet to send it over! Thank you so much KatyLin! Now, we are supposed to say 6 things that make us happy, plus give it to 6 people. Well since I gave this award out one already, I am not going to pass it along because there are WAY to many blogs that I love, and it would be wrong to only pick 6...maybe 60, but not 6! hehe

{kreative blogger award}

Hey Everyone! I'm finally back and catching up so there will be quite a few posts this week I am sure! :)

But I wanted to first say thank you so much to Kitty Scraps. She send me an awesome award, the Kreative Blogger Award! I'm so honored!
For this award, I am supposed to list 6 things that make me happy, and then pass the award to 5 people who I think are Kreative! hehe (I love the "creative" spelling too!)

So, things that make me happy:
1.) Seeing that their are comments that need to me moderated on my blog! I love knowing that people actually read what I write and they take the time to tell me about it. :)

2.) Picking my daughter up from school when she tells she missed me!

3.) Having a good hair day!

4.) The feeling of anticipation of something good. That feeling when you know you have a party to go to, or family coming over. Its a mix of excited and nervous...I love that feeling!

5.) Having nothing to do at all...that never happens, but if it did, it would make me extremely happy!

6.) Last, but not least, spending quiet time with the Lord makes me VERY happy! :)

Ok, now to award it! I normally pick blogs to award these things to, but I have WAY more than 5, so I don't think that would be fair! So I am going to break the rules and award it to everyone who reads my blog. Go ahead and put it on your blog, and show it with pride!
