  {Good Will Hunting}

I L-O-V-E Good Will, and I tend to find some really cool treasures on my shopping trips there! So over the last few months, I have collected some goodies that I wanted to share with you. Now, these are not ALL that I have, but I don't have a wide enough camera lens to get all of it in a picture! lol So I picked some of my favorite items to show you!

I picked up this floor lamp yesterday. Its just plain at the top, but I thought the bottom was worth showing off. It was only $6.00!

This is a little collection of some candle sticks (1.50 each), picture frames (1.50 each) and this cute little mosaic balls that I have a perfect bowl for (1.99 each). I also love these bottles with the veggies and stuff in them, I have them all over my kitchen! (1.99)

This clock I bought a while back, but I LOVE it!! It was $8.00, a little high, but I couldn't resist!

I also got these little paintings for the master bathroom. They are the perfect colors, so I think I will leave them alone and just hang them as is! (3.00 each)

Have you found any good deals lately while Good Will Hunting? Leave me a comment so I can come by and see them!!

Nikki, thanks so much for kind words and your prayers. They are much appreciated. I love the things you found at the Goodwill. Yours has much better stuff than ours does. Those candle sticks are from Southern Living and were about $45 originally. I came close to getting them a few years ago, but knew my husband would have an attack. Awesome buys. Congrats!

Girl, you found some wonderful goodies! I haven't had a whole lot of luck in the thrift stores lately. Oh whoops, I guess I have. I was just thinking that I haven't found any decorative items lately. But, I picked up a beautiful armoire last week for $120. It needs a little TLC. I had to talk my husband into buying it, but now he's glad we did.

Thanks so much girls! I didnt shop at goodwill until about a year ago, and now Im SOOO hooked! In fact, my sister never finds anything at hers, so she told me when she has extra money that she will give it to me to go shopping for her! LOL I think I must have the gift! HEHE!! :)

I am also hooked on Goodwill and I also discovered it only a year ago. Just think of all the money I could have saved all these years. Love your blog and that little pink dresser is delightful.

I just was lurking around on your blog earlier today and what do you know, you post on my blog today! Did I leave some sort of digital footprint on your blog or something?

My Goodwill (30 minutes away!) never has anything good when I go there. St Vincent de Paul (35 minutes away) has much better stuff--that's where I found the cheese dome I posted about on my blog. Still, I never find the cutesy stuff that others post about. Maybe someday!!

I love yard sales as much as Good Will. :-) No point in ever buying retail!

Hi Nikki, I love your treasure you found at Goodwill! I went to ours today and found a few things! I got a large starfish for $1.09. The kids and I went to the local zoo afterwards and they had one identical to mine, in the gift shop, for $6! I love a bargain! :) ~Rhonda

LOVE all your finds. The candlesticks are great and I love the little bally thingys. Very pretty. And the clock is fab, too.

You have seen all of my thrifty goodies. I have not been since that trip. Once school is back in, I will be there a couple times a week. I promise, it is therapy for me. -- Brandi

Nikki,

I am so sorry, but I just don't think you and I can be friends.

Look at how creative you are.
And talented you are.

I mean - you create the most beautiful things out of absolutely nothing. You bargain shop. AND you buy fish for 99cents and make a perfect meal out of it.

How can I compete with that?

I can't. So just send me that Toscana dress as a peace offering and we'll call it even.

You are a doll,
Melissa at Stretch Marks

PS. And no, I wasn't kidding about that Toscana dress. :0

Melissa, your so sweet! I LOVE reading your blog, it brings me so much inspiration. I would love to send you a toscana dress, but I dont have any more of the fabrics in it! hehe (that and they take me 2 weeks to patchwork! HEHE)

Love you all!!!

I have those same candle sticks from Southern Living at Home! Love the rug...is it a thrifty find too? I don't think 8 dollars is too much for the clock if you really liked it...it's cute!

I am going to have a post tomorrow of some stuff I painted from yard sales.

Hey Dianne,

I acutally got the rug at Kirklands on Black Friday about 3 or 4 years ago. It was like $30 or something, really good for a cute little rug. And it had leopard print in it, which I CAN NOT resist! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I actually live in Austin too!

Man, I've checked out several Goodwill stores since we moved here and I've never been able to find the treasures you did! You must have found the crown jewel of Austin Goodwill stores. :) I definitely know there are a LOT of them to check out!

I love the artwork you created with the paint chips! It looks so clean and colorful. Back in college, I used the paint chip squares to create a border on a flat wooden picture frame and decoupaged them on. It was a really fun project and I made them for friends as Christmas gifts in their favorite colors. I wouldn't have thought of using them for a larger scale piece of art though! Love the idea!
